SECTION 3B - COLUMBIA GENERATING STATION

This area is south of SR 240, west of Kingsgate Way and north of West Richland and east of SR 225. It includes the Horn Rapids Master Planned Community and those homes and businesses that are accessed from Harrington Road, Yakima River Drive, Snively Road, Twin Bridges Road and Weidle Road. It also includes the Rattlesnake Mountain Shooting Facility and the Horn Rapids County Park.

Evacuation Route: Southwest on Twin Bridges Road to Harrington Road, then turn left on N Harrington Road. Continue onto Grosscup Blvd. Turn left onto Van Giesen (SR224) and continue towards SR 240. Continue the evacuation route to the Assistance Center provided in your public service announcement.

Southridge High School: Continue eastbound on SR 240. Take the off ramp for West to I-182/I-82. Take the left lane exit to I-82 East. Continue on I-82 East and take exit 113 to US 395 North. Continue north on 395 to Hildebrand Blvd and follow the signage to Southridge High School.

Columbia Basin College: Continue eastbound on SR 240 to Aaron Drive. Cross over Aaron Drive and enter eastbound I-182. Continue eastbound on I-182. Take exit 12B for N 20th Ave.  At the light, turn left onto N 20th Ave and follow the signage to Columbia Basin College.

SECTION 3C - DOE/HANFORD AND COLUMBIA GENERATING STATION

This area is south of the Hanford Site and north of Battelle Blvd between Stevens Drive and the Columbia River. It also includes the area west of Stevens Drive between SR 240 and the Hanford site. It includes the Horn Rapids Off-Road Vehicle Park and the Richland landfill.

It does NOT include businesses or parks accessed from Hwy 240 via Logston Blvd or Robertson Drive or businesses on the west side of Stevens Drive, south of Curie Street.

Evacuation Route:
South on Stevens Drive to East SR 240. Move to the right two (2) lanes in order to continue eastbound on SR 240 from Stevens Drive. Continue the evacuation route to the Assistance Center provided in your public service announcement.

Southridge High School: Continue eastbound on SR 240. Take the off ramp for West to I-182/I-82. Take the left lane exit to I-82 East. Continue on I-82 East and take exit 113 to US 395 North. Continue north on 395 to Hildebrand Blvd and follow the signage to Southridge High School.

Columbia Basin College: Continue eastbound on SR 240 to Aaron Drive. Cross over Aaron Drive and enter eastbound I-182. Continue eastbound on I-182. Take exit 12B for N 20th Ave.  At the light, turn left onto N 20th Ave and follow the signage to Columbia Basin College.

SECTION 4 - DOE/HANFORD AND COLUMBIA GENERATING STATION

This section is on the Hanford site and under jurisdiction of the Department of Energy.  There are no permanent residents in this area. Hanford workers would be notified if any protective actions are necessary.

SECTION 5 - DOE/HANFORD

This area is north of University Drive and south of Battelle Blvd between Stevens Drive and the Columbia River.  Section 5 is only applicable to DOE Hanford events (not for Columbia Generating Station).

Evacuation Route:
South on Stevens Drive to SR 240, then eastbound on SR 240.  Continue eastbound on SR 240.  Continue the evacuation route to the Assistance Center provided in your public service announcement.

Southridge High School: Continue eastbound on SR 240.  Take the off ramp for West to I-182/I-82.  Take the left lane exit to I-82 East.  Continue on I-82 East and take exit 113 to US 395 North.  Continue north on 395 to Hildebrand Blvd and follow the signage to Southridge High School.
